This class was a more intermediate class where I was able to build off of the understanding I already had as well as fine tune my materia medica knowledge and medicine making skills. In this class we talked more about plant wisdom/connection and holistic healing. We learned about pathology, went deeper into the body systems and worked on plant identfication.

This class also had three field trips where we learned more about plants in different areas and talked a bit about clinical skills. This included a field trip to Lanes End Homestead and Joyce Kilmer Forest, Caty Crabb's Farm/Homestead and the Goldenseal Sanctuary at United Plant Savers in Ohio, and ended with a trip to Hostel in the Forest in Georgia.

This class we logged 450 hours of clasroom time and at home study time, including time spent on our week long field trips.

My level 1 class took me deeper into the practice of plant medicine. I began to develop a stronger relationship with the plants and dived deeper into learning my materia medica. This class met one full weekend a month where we focused on one chakra or healing center and the corresponding body system.

Aside from chakras, body systems, and materia medica, we also learned: ethical wildcrafting, ceremony, medicine making skills, aromatherapy, and first aid.

I was one of two apprentices for Lupo throughout this class where I studied directly under her and helped with medicine making and apothecary organization for her business.

This class I logged 275 hours combined of classroom, home study,  and apprenticeship time.
